Outdoor CAT5e,75' Shielded Patch Cable

75 feet long CAT5e outdoor rated (CMX) shielded cable assembly. Terminated with RJ45 Shielded Connectors. (Black Color).

Shielded cable protects sensitive equipment from electrical surges caused by lightning and ESD from wind. The shield provides a path to ground for electrical energy instead of through the electronics. Shielded cables need to be grounded to be effective. Normally this ground is through the shielded RJ45 connector on different pieces of equipment like PC's, switches, routers, etc.
