The TP-POE-24G-12W is a single-port desktop passive PoE inserter that injects 24VDC power onto Ethernet cabling for devices requiring passive PoE. It supports 10/100/1000Mbps Gigabit Ethernet data rates and delivers up to 12W of output power using Mode B pinout (pins 4,5+ and 7,8-). The unit accepts 100–240VAC 50/60Hz input and includes a 3-prong North American power cord with an IEC C5 plug. The inserter meets Energy Efficiency Level VI requirements under both DoE VI and ERP VI standards, with a minimum efficiency of 86.2% and a maximum no-load consumption of 0.1W. Output ripple and noise is rated at 120mV peak-to-peak. Built-in protections cover short circuit, overcurrent, and overload conditions. Shielded RJ45 jacks are used on both ports, and CAT5e or higher cabling is required for Gigabit speeds, supporting runs up to 100m.
