It's time for your annual trailer maintenance!As winter approaches, we would like to remind you of the importance of performing routine maintenance on your MobileSolarPro® pneumatic mast system to ensure optimal performance and continued warranty coverage.Warranty Notice: To maintain warranty eligibility, pneumatic mast maintenance must be completed at least twice annually. Failure to do so will result in the voiding of warranty coverage. Required Winter Maintenance Procedures:1. Lubrication Each time the MobileSolarPro® unit is deployed or the pneumatic mast is drained, it is recommended to lubricate the mast.
Use 3-in-1 multipurpose oil or AW ISO 32 hydraulic oil.
Apply approximately 0.5 oz. of oil into the oil holes of each mast section using a spout-capped bottle.
2. Pneumatic Mast DrainingTo prevent internal damage from freezing temperatures, follow these steps to fully drain the mast:
Fully extend the mast to allow water between sections to escape through the oil holes.
Remove the security plates at the base by unscrewing the four 10mm fasteners.
Open the valve one-quarter to halfway, then pull the lock ring on each section to collapse the mast and drain residual water.
Close the valve and reapply oil as the mast extends. Repeat the draining process to ensure complete removal of moisture.
Important Safety Warning: Do not raise the mast if ice may be present inside. Doing so can cause damage to the internal harness coil.
