The Tycon Power® TP-SW5G24-AT is a compact, fully automatic Layer 2 Gigabit Ethernet switch designed for industrial, vehicle, marine, off-grid, and battery-powered applications. The switch includes 5 Gigabit Ethernet ports: • 4 × 802.3at PoE+ ports providing up to 30W per port (120W total PoE power) • 1 × Gigabit uplink port The PoE+ ports can power devices such as IP cameras, wireless access points, VoIP phones, and other PoE-enabled equipment while providing high-speed Gigabit data connectivity. A built-in DC-to-DC converter allows the switch to supply standard 54VDC PoE+ output while operating from a wide 10–36VDC input range. This makes the switch ideal for systems powered by batteries or DC power sources, including solar systems, vehicles, boats, and remote installations. The switch is specifically designed for low power consumption and includes Low Voltage Disconnect (LVD) functionality to help protect batteries and extend operating time compared to standard Ethernet switches. Dual DC power inputs provide support for both primary and backup power connections for improved reliability. The switch accepts 10–36VDC input through a wire terminal connector supporting up to 12AWG wire. When both power inputs are connected, the higher voltage input automatically operates as the primary source while the lower voltage input serves as the backup. Compatible with Cat5e, Cat6, or higher Ethernet cabling, the switch supports standard Ethernet distances up to 100m (328ft). Built for demanding environments, the TP-SW5G24-AT features shielded and grounded RJ45 connectors, surge protection on all ports, and a wide operating temperature range for reliable performance in industrial and outdoor applications.
