The Tycon Power® TP-SW8G-BT-SFP is a fully automatic Layer 2 Gigabit Ethernet switch with 8 ports, including: • 4 × 802.3bt PoE++ ports delivering up to 90W each (360W total) • 2 × Gigabit uplink ports • 2 × SFP ports The SFP ports support standard single-mode or multimode fiber transceivers, as well as RJ45 transceivers for two additional copper Ethernet ports. The switch includes DIP-switch controlled features such as VLAN, QoS, PoE watchdog, and Network Extend mode. Dual power inputs provide primary and backup power support. The unit requires 46–57VDC input via a wire terminal connector supporting up to 12AWG wire. Compatible with Cat5e/6 or better Ethernet cables, the switch supports standard network distances up to 100m, or up to 250m in Extend mode. Fiber connections can reach up to 120km depending on the SFP transceiver used. Designed for industrial and outdoor applications, the switch features shielded and grounded RJ45 ports, surge protection on all ports, and a wide operating temperature range. Technical Links
